Joseph and Perlina Lee were likely husband and wife, but Mollie and John Lee were born a bit late to have been children. They're possibly a young couple, related to Joseph and Perlina. In any event, the family name, "Lee", is on the plinth on both sides, with this inscription on one long side:

Mollie Lee,
Born Oct. 6, 1876,
Died Aug. 8, 1900.

John Lee,
Born Feb. 27, 1881,
Died Dec. 3, 1903.

--

A sheaf of wheat, indicating harvest, is on one short side of the headstone, while a funeral wreath is on the other short side. The inscription on the second long side is:

Joseph Lee,
Born
May 20, 1829,
Died July 6, 1894.

Perlina Lee,
Born
Oct. 14, 1832,
Died Sept. 23, 1904.

No pain, no grief, no anxious fear,
Can reach our loved ones sleeping here.
