Jan putoval), most, kotva ci chudas, jemuž Jan udílí almužnu.

EN:
Jan and Johánek of Pomuk (between 1340 and 1350 in Nepomuk, Nepomuk today - 20 March 1393 in Prague) was vicar general of the Prague archbishop, later venerated as a saint John of Nepomuk, the martyr of the Catholic Church and one of the Czech patron saints.

John is in Christian iconography (as it has been portrayed for the first time Brokoff) portrayed as a canon, that is dressed in Alba, Roche cassock and cloak canonry (Mozzetta) with a biretta. Genoa halo is usually accompanied by five stars, holding a cross and a palm branch also, sometimes a book. Palma is a symbol of victory, the stars represent the legend according to which vltavští fishermen found after the death of John's body, or the five wounds of Christ and the letters of the Latin tacui (I kept silent). Non-disclosure of confession is symbolized by a finger to his mouth. The stars around the head are among the saints attribute is very special, because with stars around the head is only displayed the Virgin Mary. Another attribute is the language that should be found in the 18th century in Genoa skull intact; according to new research, however, it was the brain tissue. Other attributes are Palladium of Czech in Stara Boleslav (according to legend, this baroque St. John went), a bridge, an anchor or a pauper, whom John gives alms.
