The bridge, a gift of the class of 1987, is behind the beaver dam in an area of brushy wetland. There is a pond beyond the dam. The area around the wetland is very muddy, especially in the spring. The hill also has trails that get wet. The Friends of the Nature Preserve, and a lot of students work on the primitive boardwalk on the trails. These are a work in progress. They have been expanding the boardwalk to cover more of the trails.
Approximate boardwalk length (feet): 1000
