Turn away from the casino and head north when exiting the interstate. Follow the road around the bend and you will find this campsite. Organization is free form, camp where ever you like.
Many "snowbirds" gather here year after year for the winter season. The folks get to know one another but are very welcoming to newcomers and overnighters who stop by for a night or more.
A favorite is the nightly campfire time where people gather to swap stories and tales. People tend to "visit" from camp site to campsite as well during the daytime. New friends are made and old friendships renewed yearly.
On the down side, or things people just tend to ignore, noise. It has a fairly good amount of noise but you get used to it quickly. There is a train track to the north and the interstate to the south.
Number of tent spaces: Four or more
Access to Campsite: Car
Special Features: Everyone is welcome, friends made easily no matter who you are or where you are from (even if its not Canada)
