Up on the front of the 'Gothic' styled School Hall, of the Methodist church, is the construction date / year of 1925.

Behind the sign for the Wesley Uniting Church of East Maitland is a sandstone Dedication Stone in the red brickwork, which reads:

"To the Glory of God
and in Memory of
Thomas L. Banfield.
This stone was laid by
Minnie Banfield
16th May 1925."

And on the right-hand (northern) side of the hall is a second sandstone Dedication Stone, which reads:

"To the Glory of God
and in grateful remembrance of
W. Stanley Glover. O. James Gill. M.M.
W. George Pullen. F. Hilton Hain.
John A, Longworth. A. Stanley Cotterill.
who laid down their lives in the Great War
This stone was laid by
Mrs H.H. Gill.
16th May 1925."
