Cowell Beach starts on the west side of the Santa Cruz Warf. It ends where the cliffs are near the intersection of Manor and Cliff streets. This beach is prone to algae blooms due to a creek emptying out here from the nearby lagoon which gets occasional run off. This beach is not as popular as the main beach, but still gets tourist. It has a few art sculptures and it's within walking distance of a few restaurants.
