The Camino del Oleoduto (Pipeline trail) is a classic hiking train in the Parque Nacional Soberania, in Panama.

Most of the guidebooks about Panama will mention this trail. It has a total of 17 km although only 5,8 km are available for the general public. The remaining extension is under a more strict regime and only with a special authorization is possible to walk there.
It might be necessary to pay USD 5 but this is quite random. There isn't a ticket booth but if the walker meets accidentally the park rangers then he will be asked to pay the ticket.
Note that this is NOT a circular trail. There is plenty of wildlife to be observed. Crocodiles, birds, monkeys, etc...
