Massey and Hazel were married right after the end of the Second World War.
According to the Ontario birth registration (1909 #012173), George Elliott Massey Read (son of Edwin Percy Read and Violet Angeline Davis) was born in March township, 28 November 1909. Earlier in 1909, the United States Army Signal Corp Division purchases the world's first military airplane, a Wright Military Flyer, from the Wright brothers.
