Wat Samakki is located in a former Christian church which was purchased and converted in 2015. The temple consists of a number of manufactured buildings on Mountain View Road. Wat Samakki is a center for the teaching and practice of Buddhism and the teaching and practice of Meditation. Meditation is the fore front of their practice and they have an English speaking Monk in residence so they can reach all who are interested and willing to learn. Samakki in Thai means unity or togetherness. The grandiose plan is to be the largest and the best Temple in the State of Arizona serving everyone who wishes peace and tranquility in their lives.
