This small sculpture consists a sorrowful-looking dog laying next a pair of empty shoes, presumably his departed owner.

The sculpture was done by Gary Whittington and donated by Carol & Lisa in loving memory of Sumio Kubota (1955 - 2015). It is located in Fountain Park.
