This is a track for the trotters, or Standardbreds, and is sited in Exhibition Park, the home of the annual St. John EX, which happens the first week of September, this year from September 1st to 5th.

Their racing schedule this year (2015) runs from August 29 to November 14, with all races taking place in a Saturday except those of October 12, a Monday.

There are now a few disused parts of the track which show their age, such as the old notice board, a relic of the pre electronic days of harness racing.

It was way too early in the season when we visited, but any given day through spring and summer will find the drivers working out the horses, as was the case on this day.
