At Blalock's, things are cafeteria style, so grab your tray. They'll take your meat order, and as you move on down the line, you can help yourself to the sides and dessert before paying. There is plenty of seating, with a large party room, and there is also a drive-thru window.
You can do plates or sandwiches (including sloppy joes), with the option of ordering food by the pound. Your selections are pork ribs, pulled pork, brisket (sliced/chopped), ham, turkey, grilled chicken, sausage (Pittsburg hot links), and baked potatoes. Your sides include pinto beans, cole slaw, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, mac and cheese, and black-eyed peas. Soft drinks and iced tea are available, no alcohol, and pie and banana pudding are your dessert options.
As meat is available by the pound, you can order as much as you like in order to "pig out," unless you buy one of their family packs to tackle yourself. If you're going on the cheap, $3.50 will get you a sloppy joe and a glass of water.
