Zahnmedizin
Regelmäßige Zahnarztbesuche und eine vernünftige Pflege der Zähne sind für uns Menschen selbstverständlich, um Karies, Paradontitis und anderen Zahn- und Mundschleimhautentzündungen vorzubeugen. Auch Ihre Haustiere sollten regelmäßig, also mindestens einmal im Jahr vom Tierarzt auf ihre Zahngesundheit hin untersucht werden. Wird dies vernachlässigt, droht ihrem vierbeinigen Lebenspartner neben starken Zahnschmerzen auch der Zahnverlust.
In der Tiermedizin stehen uns heute für Hund und Katze dieselben technischen Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung wie sie beim Menschen genutzt werden. Damit ist nicht nur eine professionelle Zahnreinigung sondern auch zahnerhaltende Behandlung (z.B. bei Frakturen der Zähne) oder die Korrektur von angeborenen Gebissfehlstellungen möglich. (Wir behandeln nur Fehlstellungen mit medizinischer Indikation, kosmetische Korrekturen nehmen wir nicht vor.)

Regular dental visits and a reasonable care of the teeth are natural for us humans to prevent caries, periodontitis and other dental and oral mucositis. Your pets should be regularly, ie examined at least once a year by a veterinarian on their dental health back. If this is neglected, threatens their four-legged partners besides severe toothache and tooth loss.
In veterinary medicine, we now have for dog and cat the same technical options available as they are used in humans. Thus, not only a professional cleaning but also tooth-preserving treatment (as in fractures of the teeth) or the correction of congenital teeth misalignments is possible. (We only handle misaligned with medical indication, cosmetic fixes we do not break.)
