"A new rainbow-striped crosswalk is bringing a splash of color to The Alameda, thanks to San Jose city officials and the Billy DeFrank LGBTQ Community Center.

The crosswalk, located in front of the DeFrank center at the corner of The Alameda and South Morrison Avenue, is the first of its kind in the city. In addition to brightening up the Midtown business district, it will serve as a symbol for San Jose's s close-knit gay community." (visit link)
