It is the residence hall of the Lyon National Orchestra.
On the ground floor, the atrium welcomes shops and exhibitions. The hall, with a stage of 400 m2, is located on the first floor of the building. It can accommodate 2120 people.
The building was inaugurated on 14 February 1975, after three years of works. The auditorium is resolutely modern, shaped scallop. The project management has evolved during the construction, so the building has a certain eclecticism

Au rez-de-chaussée, l'atrium accueille boutiques et expositions. La salle, dotée d'une scène d'environ 400 m2, est située au premier étage du bâtiment. Elle peut accueillir 2 120 personnes.
Le bâtiment fut inauguré le 14 février 1975, après trois années de travaux. Construit en béton précontraint à l'instar de nombreux bâtiments environnants, l'auditorium se veut résolument moderne, en forme de coquille Saint-Jacques. La maîtrise d'ouvrage ayant évolué au cours du chantier, le bâtiment présente un certain éclectisme.
