The historical tourist attraction that depicts the life of Tom Landry is undergoing its fourth restoration. The peeling paint was caused by different brands of paint used. The original wall fell apart and the mural had to be repainted.

Changes were made to the original design. A painting of the home Landry grew up in was added to the bottom left corner of the mural and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes crest was added to the right side of the painting.
