An interesting sundial is located on the west side of the Vermont Welcome Center, northbound on I-91, in Guilford, VT.

This circular bronze sundial rests on a 4' high by 3' square marble pedestal which is rough cut on the front. The sundial uses traditional Roman numerals to indicate the time. It also contains a small compass rose and the inscription: GREEN MOUNTAIN STATE at the top of the inner circle and VERMONT at the bottom of the outer circle.
