Zippy once visited the Holiday Motel, located on South Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas. The depiction of the sign in the Zippy comic strip is still accurate.

This Zippy Sunday strip features four different motel signs, all in Las Vegas Nevada. Zippy and his friend Claude Funston have one of their regular unusual conversations. Zippy asked Claude why he came here and Claude said he came to win.
