The Safari Motel can be found on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. The depiction in the Zippy comic strip is still accurate.

This Zippy Sunday strip features four different motel signs, all in Las Vegas Nevada. Zippy and his friend Claude Funston have one of their regular unusual conversations. Zippy said he enjoyed the plush carpeting, the twinkling lights and the non-stop beverages. Claude said all that cost $743!
