HERE MAY 15, 1776, THE CONVENTION OF VIRGINIA THROUGH RESOLUTIONS DRAFTED BY EDMOND PENDLETON OFFERED BY THOMAS NELSON, JR. ADVOCATED BY PATRICK HENRY, UNANIMOUSLY CALLED ON CONGRESS TO DECLARE COLONIES FREE AND INDEPENDENT.
