"The new warning siren was installed Tuesday, Feb. 28, on the north side of the parking lot across from the city fire station of the Jamestown Fire Protection District (JFPD), with the assistance of Ameren Missouri personnel and equipment.
"The solar panel is taken to the pole for mounting by employees of Outdoor Warning Consulting LLC.
"According to Steve Cearlock, of Outdoor Warning Consulting LLC, an omni-directional Whelen siren "covers everybody in 360 degrees with no moving parts."" ~ California Democrat
