Lanová dráha od roku 1995 zajištuje návštevníkum spojení od Punkevních jeskyní k vyhlídkovým mustkum propasti Macocha. Lanová dráha je pokládána za jeden z nejšetrnejších druhu dopravních prostredku. Je-li navíc úcelne a citlive umístena ve svém prostredí, nelze pochybovat o jejím významu. Lanová dráha byla uvedena do provozu 6. kvetna 1995 a prepravila bezpecne již statisíce návštevníku. Je alternativou pro všechny návštevníky Moravského krasu, kterí nechtejí ci nemohou chodit pešky.
