A plaque Wide Lane on the corner of Church Street and Wide Lane, Hathern.
The Plaque reads:
"Many houses built in the 16th & 17th C. used an oak timber frame structure usually visible externally and four fine examples are here. Stints Farm, No. 53, on the corner of Wide Lane and Church Street, also has a decorative herring bone style brick infill.
Monks Cottage, No. 41, has a seven-bay timber box frame with curved struts and brick and plaster infill.
No. 37 was originally three cottages, which were rescued from demolition in 1963 and converted into a single dwelling. No. 48 has white-painted brick infill, and an internal beam bears the date 1610."
