The Birth of Psyche - Reykjavik, Iceland - Relief Art Sculptures on Waymarking.com

This bronze sculpture is entitled "The Birth of Psyche" and is dated "1915-1918".
All of the sculptures here are by Icelandic artist Einar Jonsson.

The relief work has two panels embedded in a wall.
One panel depicts a figure creating a woman on an anvil. The second panel has a mostly created Psyche being carved by a sculptor. She seems to be coming out of a womb of clouds into the hands of a young man...presumably Cupid.
