Legion Post 3 is home to a top tier military museum. In addition to a meeting place for veteran members, the post promotes veteran's rights and respect for all who have served.

The museum is free to all and often host home school children for history lessons on the honorable role of the miltary in the formation and preservation of our country. Started in 2002 the musuem has a display honoring U-2 pilot Rudolf Anderson, the only American killed by enemy fire during the Cuban Missile Crisis. There are uniforms from all branches of the services including Mechant Marines. An Admiral's uniform is on display, donated by the owner.
The post also sponsors a Legion baseball team to promote youth self-respect and good sportsmanship.
