From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles. Turn right onto FR14 and continue for 2.0 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 9"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 1770' W from FR14. There is a faded PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign mounted on a T-post which bears W, 9'9" distant, and another sign and post which bears S, 35'9" distant. Found four ponderosa pines with scribed blazes, each with two BEARING TREE yellow tags, front and backside, and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign backside. The tree in the SW quadrant is a 6' sawed stump, and there is a LOCATION POSTER on the one in the SE quadrant.
