There are no markings of any kind on this Stone but the sign posted nearby states that this mill stone is believed to be from the grist mill built by Edward Musgrove north of Clinton where the Musgrove's Mill state historic site is located now.

This mill operated between 1774 and 1908 so that the backcountry residents had a place to grind their crops without the need to travel for days to reach the other grist mills.
Type of mill: Water Mill

What did this millstone make?: Grain & Corn
