Zbytky hradu z 2. poloviny 13. století, který vybudovali príslušníci z rodu z Doubravice. Prvním doloženým majitelem je Protiva z Doubravice, který se pripomíná v letech 1293 - 1308. V 2. polovine 14. století patri Ješkovi z Doubravice, který ho prodal roku 1378 Oldrichovi z Boskovic. V letech 1418 - 1528 drželi panství páni ze Sovince, pri jeho prodeji v roce 1529 se hrad uvádí jako pustý. Prístup k hradu je ze severovýchodního konce Doubravice po cervené turistické stezce smerem na Kunicky.

Severovýchodne od Mestecka Doubravice nad Svitavou na ostrohu pri levém brehu potoka Nešorky se dochovaly zbytky stredoveké tvrze Doubravice, vybudované v druhé polovine 13. století rodem z Doubravice. Tvrz byla vystavena na malé trojhranné rovine s hlubokými prukopy. Dodnes jsou patrné zbytky znicených zdí stejne jako cesta k tvrzi.
Historicky prvním doloženým clenem rodu z Doubravice byl v r. 1255 Hlavác z Doubravice, ve 14. století se pripomíná Ješek z Doubravice, který mel za manželku Markétu z Pernštejna; v r. 1371 získal Doubravici Oldrich z Boskovic, v r. 1391 byl pánem tvrze Ješek Puška z Kunštátu a z Otaslavic, po r. 1418 získala panství Katerina z Kunštátu a její syn Heralt ze Sovince, který sympatizoval s husity. V rodine pánu ze Sovince, kdy panství získal Jan Lhotský ze Ptení; ten je již v r. 1529 pripojil k rájeckému zboží.
Není známo, kdy byla tvrz rozborena, ani za jakých okolností; v r. 1528 se již pripomíná jako pustá, avšak v r. 1680 prý zde bydel ješte dráb.
Ke zrícenine tvrze Doubravice se vztahuje báje, zaznamenaná Bartolomejem Paprockým v jeho Zrcadle slavného markrabství moravského z r. 1593; vypráví, že za casu knížete Rostislava prý jakýsi Saul zápasil s obrem a vytrhl mu pritom kníry i s horním rtem; kníry spolu se šípem, tj. zavinutou strelu, dostal jako znak za svou udatnost. Prvorozený syn Sauluv prý pak zacal stavet místní tvrz.

Northeast of the town Doubravice Svitavou on a promontory on the left bank of the river Nešorky the preserved remains of a medieval fortress Doubravice, built in the 13th century by the family of Doubravice. The fortress was built on a small triangular plane with deep pioneer. They are still remnants of the destroyed walls as well as a way to keep.
Historically, the first documented member of the family of Doubravice was r. 1255 Hlavac of Doubravice in the 14th century reminds Ješek of Doubravice, who was married to Margaret of Pernštejna; in r. 1371 received Doubravice Ulrich Boskovic, in r. 1391 was the master of the fortress Ješek Rifle Kunštát and from Otaslavice, after r. 1418 acquired the estate of Catherine and her son Kunštátu Heralt of Sovince who sympathized with Hussites. The family of the Lords of Sovinec, when the estate was acquired by Jan Lhotský Ptení; It is already in r. 1529 joined rájeckému goods.
It is not known when the fort was demolished, nor under what circumstances; in r. 1528 already resembles a barren, but in r. 1680 said there bydel still beadle.
To the ruins of the fortress Doubravice applies myth, recorded Bartholomew Paprockým in his Mirror of the famous Moravian margraviate from r. 1593; tells us that during the time of Prince Rostislav said Saul sort of wrestled with the giant and snatched while mustaches and the upper lip; mustaches, along with an arrow, ie. curl a shot, he got as a sign for his valor. The firstborn son of Saul said then began to build a local stronghold.
