Located in front of Douglas County Courthouse is a multi-war memorial comprised of plaques of Douglas County individuals who served their country in numerous armed conflicts over the decades. One of the plaques notes the following conflict and lists the following names who served:
OPERATION
IRAQI FREEDOMOPERATION
ENDURING FREEDOM
-------
James L. Moore Ricky W. Rockholt, Jr.
Dean R. Bright Daniel A. Leckel
Joshua A.R. Young
Joshua Lengstorf David M. Mudge
James D. Nehl
This multi-war memorial has all the plaques monumented on a low-lying slanted stone wall with benches on the other side and forming a circle. The original multi-war memorial was dedicated in 1972 and then re-dedicated on July 4, 2010. I would assume the Operation Desert Storm plaque was monumented at that time.
