Obituary, Florida Times-Union, July 8, 2006

Margaret Partridge Swanson, 100, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2006. A life long resident of Jacksonville, she was a 1929 graduate of St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing. After retiring from Memorial Hospital in 1975, she founded Swanson Sitter Agency which she operated until 1999. She was a loving mother and a devoted, caring registered nurse.

Survivors include her daughter, Joan Crooks, and several nephews and nieces. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. In her memory, please take a moment to give thanks for all those who touch your life with love and kindness. Arrangements under the care and direction of Eternity Funeral Home."
