"Small 19th-century pub which has a Georgian-looking brick frontage added in the 1930s, when the pub was extended and has few changes since. There is an intact off sales as you enter. On the right the public bar was extended to almost twice its original size in the 1930s and has a counter that looks 30s (is painted blue) but the bar back looks more 60s as does the fireplace. The tiny lounge has a modern counter front added to what looks like it was originally a hatch. The fixed seating in two sections looks 30s work, the fireplace 60s. The ladies and gents have walls of glazed white bricks."
