Not actually on the church frontage but on the adjoining building, behind the roadside wall.
This is a new church called Shepshed Word of Life Church, formed in November 2013 by the uniting of two long-standing churches in the town – Belton Street Baptist Church (formed in 1880) and the Evangelical Free Church on Kirkhill (formed in 1969).
This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Melbourne to Nuneaton levelling line.
Technically the flush bracket is in Brook Street, at the Belton Street end, near the mini roundabout.
