Safari Ridge Adventure Paintball is a large facility, having been in place for nearly a couple of decades. Over the years it has been expanded and a separate laser tag facility has recently been added.
The paintball park has essentially a "battle in the forest" theme, using many natural features, augmented by many natural looking artificial features, added for use as cover.
The laser tag field was created as an urban setting, the theme being that of the citizens of a partially demolished city attempting to reclaim their city from the aliens who attacked and destroyed it. The battle scene consists of a couple of blocks of the inner city, all in a partly demolished condition, right down to wrecked vehicles in the streets.
Being the only paintball facility in the central Okanagan, with the largest city, Kelowna, just across the lake, this facility sees a lot of play. The nearest facilities are in Vernon, 40 miles north, and Penticton, 35 miles south.
Included in the facility are several BBQ and party areas of various sizes, with large tents in the party area to keep off the sun and the rain.
