There's a synagoge of the "Israelische Religionsgemeinschaft Württemberg located at the "Weinberghof" in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The IRGW community centre at the "Weinberghof in Ulm encloses synagogue, Mikwe, church hall, library, kindergarten and youth centre. It was initiated on the 2nd of December, 2012 (after the Jewish calendar 18. Kislew in 5773) in presence of the German Federal President Joachim Gauck, the Israeli ambassador Yakov Hadas-Handelsman, the Turkish consul general Mustafa Türker Ari, the German federal minister of education Annette Schavan and the Prime Minister of the country Baden-Wurttemberg Winfried Kretschmann.
Developer and owner of the community centre is the Israelite confession of Württemberg K. d. ö. R. (IRGW) with headquarter in Stuttgart. Rabbi in Ulm is Shneur Trebnik.
The construction was established according to draughts by Susanne Gross from Cologne. Only few metres away there was the old synagoge destroyed in the november pogroms in 1938. On the southeast corner of the new building there is the so-called "Jerusalem window". The pattern exists of recurring Stars of David.
