A sundial serves as a memorial to members of the Royal Air Force who died while training in Terrell during World War II, and who are buried here.

The sundial stands at the east end of where the twenty pilots are buried. The dial plate features a winged hourglass. Roman numerals and tick marks are just inside the perimeter of the dial, with a fairly generic gnomon. On the front is a dedication:

This ground dedicated to the Royal Air Force by the Oakland Memorial Park Association and cared for by the Terrell War Relief Society.

Below the dedication is the RAF emblem, followed by "Some corner of a foreign field that is for ever England." On the west side of the memorial is "Unveiled by Viscount Halifax K.G. British Ambassador to the United States of America 16 April 1942". The remaining two sides are blank.
