Three similarly inscribed homemade tombstones for someone's mother, father, and grandmother lie together forever in a neat row in section V at Denton's historic Oakwood Cemetery.
Blasterz think these tombstones were made at the same time by the same person, since the writing is the same. The Ns are backward, which is more evidence of a homemade tombstone. Finally, the apparent age of the concrete is a final clue that these were made at the same time by the same person. Therefore, we have decided to waymark these together.
From left to right the stones read as follows:
GRANNY
Oct. 15 - 1861
Dec. 10 - 1947
MOTHER
Apr. 8 - 1889
Jan. 21 - 1975
DADDY
Mar. 23 - 1877
Oct. 13 - 1949
Material: Concrete
