In Washington, within Washington Park, is a U.S. Veterans memorial that was initiated by Boy Scout Eric Ingram.

The memorial is located on Lincoln Street just off Willshire Drive. There is a parking lot right across the street.

The monument features a whole body of a Huey Cobra helicopter. There is a walkway around the helicopter, with engraved bricks. Near the helicopter is a plaque that states the following:

"In Honor and Memory of U.S. Veterans
______

Eagle Scout Project Initiated by Eric Ingram 2004"
