The polder Wetering West border to the west and north side of the National Park Weerribben and on the south side of the N333.
South of the N333 is the Wieden nature. On the east side is the planning area bounded by the quay of the channel Wetering, featuring ribbon development. East of the canal are polder Wetering and polder Halfway that are agricultural use. The polder Wetering eastern borders the north-western and eastern side directly to the Weerribben.
