The rescue helicopter "Christoph 22 is stationed on the roof of the surgery at the so called "Wissenschaftsstadt" in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Usually you can see this helipad easily on the top of the building and sometimes the helicopter itself. Since 15th of June 2012 "Christoph 22" is landing here on average 2 to 3 times every day.
Who is delivered as an emergency patient by the rescue helicopter to the university medical centres in the upper "Eselsberg", lands directly on the roof of the new building of the "surgery I dermatology" – in official 639 metres about sea height. For patients of the surgery and the internal medicine the ways from the helicopter in the areas of the emergency care – shock space, OP, Radiologie, intensive care unit – become with it substantially shorter.
