Mr. Stum's headstone is a beautiful example of an otherwise plain marker being decorated with the rustic log motif of the Woodmen of the World. Atop the headstone is a log, with bark peeling away, and the dove and Woodmen tools are directly below it. There is a nice touch on the plinth, with knots included with the family name, "Stum", and above is the simple inscription:

1862 - 1906
Here rests a Woodman of the World
