The Paul Henry Thornapple Trail in Middleville Michigan is part of a trail that extends from Grand Rapids to the north to Vermontville to the southeast. This trail winds its way through Kent and Barry counties where it follows the Thornapple River on an old railroad right of way.
The trail surface is made up of asphalt and hard pack gravel. The Middleville section consists of asphalt from the towns center to about 4 mile south.
There are plans in the works to improve the trail from the center of town north to the city limits. Construction is scheduled for later this year.
Parking is located on Main St. next to Stagecoach Park.
