Located on the Veterans Administration Hospital campus is a sundial in a small park area among dedicated trees, monuments and rose gardens. There's a small plaque on the sundial that reads:

V.A. THERAPY ROSE GARDEN
DONATED BY
AMERICAN LEGION
AUXILIARY-DISTRICT IX
FEBRUARY 1974

The sundial provides a nice setting here in this small park area.
