I spotted this artistic sewer cover at one of a number of intersections that have been updated with colored concrete pads and flat silhouette sculptures of scenes around Roseburg. This sewer cover depicts the Umpqua River that flows through the city and the trees represent the once-thriving logging industry that existed in the area for many decades. It appears that Roseburg is trying to revitalize the downtown area with improvements like this intersection.
