The Church bell which was imported from Italy and weighs 50kg, is half a metre in diameter. A visitor to the Church noticed that the tower had no bells and organised the bell to be made at a foundry in Varese, Italy, and shipped to Australia. The bell was secured in the tower on April 1st 1971
