Description of Memorial: This flagpole and avenue of flags that line Centennial Drive (during certain holidays) were officially dedicated to All Veterans for their service to our country. The trees along the avenue were planted many decades ago and provide a beautiful scene when visiting the campus. The Avenue of Flags is comprised of numerous locations along Centennial drive and other main roads on the campus that contain yellow concrete blocks with hollow pipes for flag poles to be monumented during certain national holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Veterans Day). During those special occasions, visitors will see the US Flags all over the campus grounds and is quite a sight to behold.
