The Airport drive-in opened in 1970. At its peak, it featured triple screens that could accommodate about 1160 cars.
As attendance dwindled and the city expanded, the drive-in's days were numbered. It closed in 1995, leaving only the Britannia still in operation in Ottawa. It too closed in 1996.
Today nothing remains except the parking areas, now used by a long term "park n fly" company.
