Swansea Marina Abertawe is located in the award winning Maritime Quarter is bordered by the city centre on one side and a sweeping sandy beach on the other.

At the heart of the Maritime Quarter is the first coastal Marina to open in the Bristol Channel and one of the few Marinas in the UK to hold the coveted Yacht Harbour Association 5 Gold Anchors award.

The Maritime Quarter houses an ultra modern national waterfront museum with state of the art audio visual displays, covering 300 years of Welsh industrial history.
Another World Class museum is the Dylan Thomas Centre, opened by USA. President Carter. The LC2 Leisure centre is another awesome attraction in the Maritime Quarter.

There are two Marinas in Swansea, This waymark is for the public Marina known as the Swansea Marina Abertawe, located, in the Maritime Quarter run by the City & County of Swansea Council.
The other Marina is a private Marina run by Swansea Yacht & Sub Aqua Club, located on the Tawe River Barrage.

"The Marina is split into three Phases - Phase One is closes to the River Tawe and is accessed through the Marina Lock. Phase Two is beyond phase one through the swing bridge. It is in the area of the National Waterfront Museum and the Swansea Museum boats. Phase Three is the furthest from the Marina Lock and is closest to the Meridian Tower.

Visiting Swansea Marina means that you will be within easy reach of the Gower Peninsula. The Gower Peninsula was designated the first area of outstanding natural beauty in the UK, and has many picturesque bays to anchor up in and relax.

Transport links are excellent, we are situated about 10 minutes drive from J42 of the M4. The bus and train stations are both within easy walking distance.
