Cette superbe création de combat entre deux Hercules Dynastes se trouve devant l'Insectarium dans l'enceinte de la Citadelle de Besançon.
Ce lieu est unique en France ! Il est certainement l’un des insectariums les plus complets et l’un des plus intéressants sur le plan européen, tant pour le grand public que pour les scientifiques. Il regroupe une grande diversité d’espèces provenant de tous horizons : fourmis, termites, criquets, phasmes, cétoines, grillons, scorpions, blattes, mygales, abeilles et bien d’autres encore. Des dizaines de milliers d’insectes et autres arthropodes, appartenant à plus de 80 espèces différentes, sont présentées aux visiteurs dans l’ancien arsenal de la Citadelle et offrent une leçon de sciences naturelles extraordinairement vivante et diversifiée.
