The Sparwood Fire Hall #1 is a large two story white building with an interesting old Allis & Chalmers Fire Pump that was in service from 1930 to the 1980s near the fire hall.

The Main Fire Hall is a two-story, triple tandem bay facility, consisting of the fire chief’s office, dispatch center, exercise area, SCBA refill and repair room, as well as a repair and maintenance area. The second story houses a training area complete with kitchen facilities. A three story training tower is located on the northwest corner of the building complete with drafting area and sprinkler training components. The facility was completed and opened in the spring of 1998.
The facility houses Ladder 1449, Engine 1447, Rescue 1448, and Tender 1446. Twenty one of our total thirty four paid on call members respond from the Main Hall
The Sparwood Fire Department currently maintains a fleet of nine vehicles, including two triple combination engines, one quint, one rescue unit, one water tender, one crew/equipment vehicle, a command vehicle, a mobile treatment center, and an antique fire truck — Old Red. There is also an emergency response trailer.
