The river may be difficult for some to pronounce, but it's at least easy to cross, thanks to this and other bridges hereabouts.

A Parker, or Camelback, through truss bridge, it crosses the Illecillewaet between Revelstoke and South Revelstoke. North of the bridge its road is Fourth Street East, while South it turns into Airport Way and continues to, well, yes, the Revelstoke Airport. This is about the end of the road for the river, as it empties into the Columbia about a short mile to the west

The bridge is about 200 feet in length and in the abutment of the northwest corner of the bridge is a benchmark, BC Water Resources No. 1071. The age of the bridge? Probably about 50, built early to mid '60s would be my guess

Length of Span:
200 feet
